Victim 2 Victory (V2V) is committed to helping families re-establish themselves into a safe environment.
We also offer programs to help girls and women recognize the signs of an
unhealthy relationship which could lead to domestic violence.

I Am Worthy Workshops

Providing an outlet to where girls and young women can express themselves and give guidance, assistance, support, empathy in the direction of living a nonviolent lifestyle.

I Am Worthy Workshops

At V2V we realize that even though they are considered “youth”, they too deserve a safe haven. A safe haven is an internal and external place. On the inside each one should feel safety and peace at all times. On the outside they should be safe and unharmed. These girls and young women have a reflection or image that shows the world, that they deserve respect and no harm at any time.

Our workshops are interactive and include some type of creative arts component, meditation, an exercise activity (stretching, walking outside, jumping jacks, etc.), guest speakers, college preparation, career planning,  and more.

The goals of our workshops are to: offer a safe connection for the participants;  allow structured and unstructured creativity and expression; produce a positive mind-shift for self and potential self; and lastly, to develop a individualized yet high level plan for next steps toward set achievements.

Danger Dating Program

Danger Dating is a program designed to help teens and youth recognize the difference between a healthy and unhealthy relationship. Similar to I AM Worthy Workshops, every participate is encouraged to know their worth or value as a human being therefore not entering or tolerating violent behavior of any kind.

Danger Dating Program

We specifically work with middle/high school girls and will be expanding to the colleges to reach our young women. Both age groups are being exposed to domestic violence or relationship-based violence at a very alarming rate.

We host group discussions as well as one-on-one mentoring or counseling as needed. The discussions engage the participants in analyzing warning signs through pop-culture, using common ground idols to make it relatable.

Then there is always structured activities that stretches the mind and visions of their potential. Similar activities offered in the workshops are integrated within the programs.

The Danger Dating program and other programs are 4-weeks or longer for the best outcomes. The programs also are integrated within other existing organization’s program(s). As we grow and are able to secure a permanent space we will be offered regularly scheduled cohorts throughout the year.
